Bathhouse Battle Secret Exit
Team Asobi releases a new update for Astro Bot, adding the final level and cameo from the previously announced Vicious Void Galaxy DLC. The game’s popularity has continued well into this year, after becoming one of the surprise hits of 2024. Not only has Astro Bot claimed a bunch of industry awards and game of the year titles, but it continues to keep players coming back with new DLC levels as well. While more of an extension of its previous titles than something all-new, it sounds like Team Asobi has cooked another stellar game. With over 80 stages and more than 15 power ups, players that wanted more of Astro’s Playroom will unlikely be dissatisfied. It will also be interesting to see what kind of new experiences Team Asobi can deliver with its deep knowledge of the DualSense controller.

Or, on the other side, celebrate wildly with validation when the game they like is recognized. It even feels like some popping candy has smuggled its way into your controller as it fizzes and pings away, sweetly reacting to whatever is happening on screen. Astro Bot is a showcase for the DualSense’s bells and whistles unlike anything since, well… Triggers tighten in your fingers and rumbles are sent through your thumbs. I found my whole body involuntarily drifting from side to side as I guided Astro’s ship with the motion controls. I’d also recommend turning your controller speaker volume up if, like me, you have it muted by default – you’ll be missing out on some fantastic audio flourishes otherwise.

I’m not a trophy hunter and usually just move on after it gets grindy. That being said, mb66 will buy this for sure, but I won’t spend a penny over £30. I can’t even say hey this Sega Rally like Indie should have more to it. Because the audience of players are too nostalgically stupid to care. You’re really overthinking the number at the end of the review.
Read the review, research what the game is, decide if you want to play it or not. The number at the end is , like any review, someone’s opinion and TBH borderline irrelevant. Sometimes a game is just what people need in a specific timeframe and that’s enough.
